Turbo Torch is a line of air-fueled tools for metal working and woodworking projects. The Turbo Torch line offers a series of tips that can be interchanged with the brand's main torch, providing different types of flames and air brushing services for different projects. Though there are several different tips in the line, there are a few basic tips that you will need to get started with your Turbo Torch.
Swirl Tip
The swirl tip is one of the most basic tips used with the Turbo Torch. Swirl tips are self igniting and use propane gas to create what is considered a soft flame, which can be used on simple metal working projects--traditionally smaller projects. The swirl tip creates about a 1/8- to 2-inch flame, and the tip size is about 13 mm long.
Three Pack Pro-Line
The three pack Pro-Line Torch Tips is a set of professional style Turbo Torch tips. The set includes the PL-3T, PL-4T and PL-5T tips, which each create a different size flame, with the PL-3T making the smallest flame of the three and the PL-5T making the largest. All three tips also include self-igniting triggers.
Acetylene Kit
The Turbo Torch Acetylene Kit is a lightweight torch kit that includes two tips and a soldering tube that creates hot flames that are still easy to control. The tips use acetylene fuel, not propane as some other tips do. This kit is considered a nice option for beginners or novice torch users, as the tips provide good welding capability while still being easy to use.
